LabelMaker operates labelmakerai.com and the LabelMaker API at api.labelmakerai.com. We provide AI-assisted label design, artwork upload, proof approval, custom label and sticker ordering, account dashboards, and related support tools.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our website, app, checkout, API dashboard, support channels, and related services.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, account details, business or brand information, product details, label copy, uploaded files, logos, artwork, generated designs, proof approvals, shipping and billing details, support messages, API key names, webhook settings, and order notes.
We also collect information generated through use of the service, including project drafts, saved brand kits, cart contents, checkout and order records, subscription status, API account metadata, API usage and delivery logs, webhook delivery status, device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, referral URLs, approximate location from network information, and diagnostic events.
Please do not upload sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your label or order. You are responsible for the product claims, regulated copy, ingredients, warnings, barcodes, QR codes, and other content you choose to include in a label.
We use information to create and save label projects, generate and edit artwork, prepare proofs, process uploads, build print-ready files, manage carts, quote orders, process payments, fulfill orders, ship products, provide customer support, operate the LabelMaker API, send service messages, prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, debug issues, improve product quality, and maintain security.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage, improve prompts and workflows, measure performance, and plan new features.
When you ask us to generate or edit label artwork, we may send your prompts, product details, uploaded images, brand assets, style references, and related instructions to AI, image-generation, file-processing, or storage providers so they can provide the requested service.
We store project assets, proof snapshots, mockups, print files, and order files so you can review, reorder, recover, and fulfill your labels. Some files may be made available to print, production, shipping, or fulfillment partners as needed to complete your order.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive payment status, customer identifiers, checkout session data, subscription status, and limited billing metadata, but we do not store full payment card numbers.
For production and fulfillment, we may share order details, approved artwork, print files, shipping information, customer contact information, provider quote data, tracking information, and related support notes with printers, fulfillment providers, shipping carriers, and operations tools.
We use service providers to operate the app, including authentication, database and hosting, file storage, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, AI generation, image processing, API operations, printing, fulfillment, and shipping providers.
These providers may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their services, comply with law, protect their systems, or support our instructions.
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember carts and projects, protect sessions, measure usage, understand page performance, and improve the service.
Depending on our configuration, we may use privacy-focused analytics and Google Analytics to collect page views, checkout events, product events, generation events, and similar usage signals. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work without them.
We share information with service providers, payment processors, fulfillment partners, shipping carriers, professional advisors, and authorities when needed to provide the service, complete transactions, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud or abuse, or complete a business transfer such as a merger, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not intentionally use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. If privacy laws treat certain analytics or advertising technologies as a sale or sharing of personal information, you may contact us to request that we limit that activity for your information.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain accounts and projects, support reorders, fulfill orders, comply with tax, accounting, legal, and security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We may keep order records, proof approvals, payment metadata, invoices, API usage records, and production files longer than draft design data because they are needed for fulfillment, customer support, fraud prevention, and business records.
You may access, correct, export, or delete certain information through your account, where available. You may also contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information we maintain about you.
Some requests may be limited by order-history retention, fraud prevention, legal obligations, security requirements, or the need to preserve records of completed transactions. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, provider security controls, and operational monitoring. No online service can guarantee perfect security, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure.
LabelMaker is intended for business and adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will review the request.
We are operated from the United States. If you use LabelMaker from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our service changes. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, when appropriate, provide notice through the service or by email.
