Plain-language documentation of the print pipeline we use. If you're approving a proof, this is the exact spec the file is built against.
Important: a note on colour (sRGB → CMYK)
The AI generator produces artwork in sRGB, the standard screen colour space. Your printer prints in CMYK ink. The two don't perfectly overlap — some very saturated on-screen colours (neon magenta, electric blue) will shift slightly when inked.
The proof PDF we produce embeds the sRGB artwork and tags a FOGRA39 intent (the European coated CMYK standard used by most label printers). The printer's RIP performs the final separation against that profile at press time.
If you need exact brand-colour match (Pantone spot, specific CMYK recipe), let us know on approval and our prepress team will perform a manual conversion before printing. Otherwise the on-screen proof is a reliable preview of the final print within ~5% of perceptual colour.
